One of our fellow-citizen President of the National Party sturziano ILeF.
On January 18, 2012, in 93 th anniversary of the famous "Appeal to all men free and strong" by Luigi Sturzo, was established in Rome the party FREE ITALIAN AND STRONG (ILeF) on the initiative of a new generation of Catholics who want to change profoundly the way we do politics in our country. The goal is twofold:
• attract the Italians, who no longer have confidence in the current system of political parties and who do not feel well represented in Parliament;
• put an end to the dispersion of the votes of Catholic voters in different parties, which made weak dispersing their voice in governing the country.
ILeF propose some very original and innovative ideas that will be pleasing to the majority of voters, eager to see their elected representatives seriously engaged - with honesty and competence - to serve the common good and not special interests.
The features and objectives of the new party were presented at a press conference that was held Jan. 20 at the Hotel Nazionale in Rome in Piazza Montecitorio. This was the entire summit ILeF, including the Political Secretary, Dr. John Palladino, who in the past 16 years has been President of the International Study Centre Luigi Sturzo, and Prof. Eugene Guccione, Chairman of the National Council of ILeF, Professor of History of Political Thought at the University of Palermo and Ustica regular visitor to our fellow citizen and husband of Anna Maria Genco. As president of Scientific-Technical Committee was appointed Prof. Marco Vitale, noted economist business. Dr. Joseph Sbardella, National Coordinator of the Association of the political culture "Person is the future", will be Chairman of the National Collective of organizations participating in the new party, which aims to raise the membership of the largest possible number of organizations and associations of inspiration Christian.
Congratulations on the birth of the party sturziano and best wishes to Eugene Guccione

Personally, I welcome with great interest the birth of the new party "Italian Free and Strong" founded by a new generation of Catholics involved in politics that is based on sociological and economic principles developed by Don Luigi Sturzo. At the National Party's new President Prof. Eugene Guccione and also for the fact that 'a friend and a fellow citizen he married Anna Maria usticese the Genco-Caserta, wish you a great job and hope for a success of Catholic followers and not to Ustica.
