Da Ustica (in vacanza dalla California) Rosanna Giorgi

I just found out that Pietro will be coming to the United States in September!!!! I don’t think he wanted anyone to know yet but I am just too excited!!! It will be exciting to spend time with others that have roots from this magical island, This  little antique house I am renting in the middle of a long piece of land full of fruits and vegetables that are available for picking whenever I need something. This is paradise!  You have to come and see this island full of wonderful treasures!!

Ho appena scoperto che Pietro verrà negli Stati Uniti nel mese di settembre !!!! Non credo che lui  volesse che qualcuno lo sapesse ancora, ma sono troppo eccitata !!! Sarà entusiasmante trascorrere del tempo con altri che hanno radici da questa magica isola. Questa piccola casa antica   a metà di un lungo pezzo di terra pieno di frutta e verdura che è disponibile per la raccolta ogni volta che mi serve qualcosa. Questo è il paradiso! Devi venire a vedere questa isola piena di tesori meravigliosi!

YEs, Rosanna, it does look like heaven !!! how did you find out about such a cute place to rent ??
although it is like heaven to be there, it is definately not fun to get all the way to Sicily from California.  Have done it 6 times since 2000, maybe getting too old to try again??

Si, Rosanna, sembra un paradiso !!! Come hai fatto a trovare su un posto così carino da affittare?   Anche se è come il paradiso per essere lì, non è sicuramente divertente arrivare fino in Sicilia dalla California. L’ho fatto 6 volte dal 2000, forse sto diventando troppo vecchia per riprovare?
