So sorry I have not responded to you since our visit to ustica. We all are still talking about you and the beautiful island ,your friends ,and my family connection the Guiffrias.

I may be bringing my family from Mississippi next summer. My brother will marry in London next summer and the talk is to visit ustica after the wedding . I will let you know when this happens.

Ustica was the highlight of our trip!!! Our children thought it was the most spectacular part of the trip!!!!! Many thanks for greeting us at 8:00 that morning when we arrived on the hydrofoil ,and for taking care of us all day long. We appreciate you , Mr. Compagno and Umberto for introducing us to USTICA. Mi dispiace non averti risposto dopo la nostra visita a Ustica. Noi tutti stiamo ancora parlando di te e della splendida isola, i tuoi amici ed il collegamento della mia famiglia con i Giuffria.
è possibile che la prossima estate porterò la mia famiglia dal Mississippi. Mio fratello si sposerà a Londra la prossima estate e l’idea è quella di visitare Ustica dopo il matrimonio. Ti farò sapere quando questo accadrà.

Ustica è stato il pezzo forte del nostro viaggio !!! I nostri ragazzi hanno detto che è stata la parte più spettacolare del viaggio !!!!! Molte grazie per averci saluto alle 8:00 quella mattina, quando siamo arrivati in aliscafo, e per prendersi cura di noi tutto il giorno. Words can not express our gratitude to you, your wife, and the people of Ustica. Your island is absolutely beautiful and we have shared our unique experience with all our friends and parish family. We were sad to hear of the young man that took his life recently in Ustica. Please let the parents know that we pray for them and know their pain. Our son, Jacob, took his life eleven years ago at the age of twenty two. We, too, asked why but finally have learned to live with the grieve. Time does heal and our faith has been a big part of that healing. Again, thank you for making our trip so delightful and making us feel so welcomed.

Le parole non possono esprimere la nostra gratitudine a te, tua moglie, e alla gente di Ustica. La vostra isola è assolutamente bellissima e abbiamo condiviso la nostra esperienza unica con tutti i nostri amici e la comunità. Ci è dispiaciuto sentire del giovane che ha perso la vita di recente a Ustica. Ti prego di fare in modo che i parenti sappiano che noi preghiamo per loro e conosciamo il loro dolore. Nostro figlio, Jacob, si tolse la vita undici anni fa, all’età di ventidue anni. Anche noi, pure, abbiamo chiesto perché ma alla fine abbiamo imparato a convivere con il dolore. Il tempo fa guarire e la nostra fede hanno avuto una parte importante di quella guarigione. Ancora una volta, grazie per aver reso il nostro viaggio così piacevole e ci ha fatto sentire molto accolti.
