the Congregation of San Bartolomeo Apostolo, founded in New Orleans in 1879 has always been presided by important people who gave all the efforts so that Ustica’s Patron Saint Bartolomeo could be remembered with great devotion by the usticese immigrants who left their island with the intent of building a future for them and their family
Today the Congregation of San Bartolomeo Apostolo can be proud of being directed by such a man of great moral values as you are.
To you, dear Chris, we send our best wishes for a great success with the assurance that your consolidated experience will keep high the name of the community from Ustica and we assure you of our collaboration based on updated information ( www.ustica.org and www.usticasape.it ) which certainly will reduce the distances among all of us.
We’d like to say a special hallo to the Vice President Christofer Skinner, to all the members of the Board and to all the people from Ustica, their children and grandchildren, who always keep high the name of Ustica with their work, not only in the U.S.A., but all over the world.
Could San Bartolomeo intercede with God for both you and us all, for our island, which we love with devotion, and for all the people that have roots in Ustica, anywhere they are

la Congregazione di San Bartolomeo Apostolo, fondata in New Orleans nel 1879, è stata sempre Presieduta da figure importanti che hanno dato il massimo affinché il Patrono di Ustica San Bartolomeo venisse ricordato con grande devozione dagli emigrati usticese che, per costruire un futuro per sé e per le loro famiglie, hanno dovuto emigrare e lasciare la loro Isola..
Oggi la Congregazione di San Bartolomeo Apostolo può andare fiera di essere presieduta da un uomo di alto spessore morale e di grandi capacità organizzative quale sei Tu.
A Te, caro Chris porgiamo i migliori Auguri di grande successo con la certezza che la Tua consolidata esperienza saprà mantenere alto il nome della comunità usticese e Ti rassicuriamo sulla nostra disinteressata collaborazione basata sill’incremento dell’interscambio delle informazioni ( www.ustica.org e www.usticasape.it ) che certamente serviranno a ridurre le distanze.
Approfitto per rivolgere un particolare saluto al Vice Presidente Christopher Skinner e ai componenti del board nonché a tutti gli Usticesi, figli o nipoti di usticesi che con il loro lavoro hanno tenuto e tengono sempre alto il nome di Ustica, non solo in America, ma nel mondo intero..
