Dear Pietro,
Jennifer Salim (Compagno) graduated from Baylor Law School on April 30, 2011 in Waco, Texas. Jennifer graduated number two in her class, achieving many honors and distinctions during her three years in school. She celebrated this momentous occasion by hosting a crawfish boil at her home for her fellow classmates and friends in the community who have supported her throughout her “journey”. After a graduation trip to Napa Valley, California, Jennifer will study for the bar exam which she will take in July. She will then move to Austin, Texas to begin an internship for a year with a Federal Judge.
As we were at the crawfish boil, Jennifer, Rose Marie, Whitney (Jennifer’s friend) and I were all talking about the summer in 2008 when we went to Ustica. It was definitely the most beautiful place I had ever seen in my life. I hope to be able to visit again in the near future. I think of you and Pina often and the memories of Ustica live on in my mind forever.
