Questa mattina a New Orleans è passata ad altra vita, all’età di 96 anni, Dolly L. Bertucci (moglie di Pierino Bertucci).
Ai figli Jan, Lisa e Pietro e a quanti Le volevano bene, le nostre più sentite condoglianze.

Dear member and friends of the society,

This past Friday Maria Bertucci Compagno announced that her sister-in-law, Dolly Bertucci, had died that morning at the age of 96.  Dolly, was the wife of the late Peter Bertucci, and together they lead the society for decades.  I don’t think anyone will deny that she was the work horse of the society – serving as treasurer and the ever-ready hostess with a charm and love of life that was infectious.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

An obituary has not yet been released but you can check on obits.nola.com over the next few days.

Thanks to every one who has renewed their memberships for 2021.  Please keep them coming.  Early next year, we will start having small gatherings like coffee shop meet-ups – this, of course, is dependent of the state of pandemic.  Hopefully, something to look forward to.
