This morning our dear friend Paul Konnick died in New Orleans. He was 82 years old
He loved Ustica and also had lots of friends in our isle, above all among the baseball guys and fans.
We share both his wife and children’s sadness, and express our heartfelt sympathy to anyone who loved him.

Questa mattina a New Orleans è morto, al’età di 82 anni, Paul Konnick .
Paul Amava Ustica ed era un Amico degli Usticesi ed in particolar modo dei ragazzi del Baseball.
Alla moglie, ai figli e a quanti Gli volevano bene, le più sentite condoglianze.

Pietro and Family, Betty and I were saddened on hearing of the death of our friend Totuccio and even more, a friend to Ustica and all who live there. Our condolences are to be extended to Lina and the children with heart felt sadness from all in my family who knew him and certainly Betty and me. As we attend daily Mass we will pray for him and all of you. His name will be on our pray list at church. As mentioned before we often talk about and remember all of the wonderful people from the island. This last week my children were looking at the pictures taken when Paul and Tony and others visited your beautiful Isalnd many years ago. Some were taken in the famous bar.
